What I'm Loving This Week

I have two quilts going at once right now and I'm loving it!  My Bliss top is ready to be layered, but first I need to piece the backing.  I also started an impromptu Valentine project which has been a lot of fun.  I love piecing patchwork...simple, rhythmic, therapeutic.  I also love being awash in a sea of reds and pinks.  Just makes me happy.  And who doesn't need a little Happy on a Monday morning?  :-)

  3. Yes, definitely...Monday mornings can use a great big pick up in the encouragement department. Thanks so much for visiting and your comment was very thoughtful. I think homeschooling trials can be a good thing (not when you're in the midst of them for sure, but even then, maybe it's good and right to give God thanks). We're listening to sermons in James right now about considering it true joy when facing trials. It is a difficult calling and many times I've wanted to just give up homeschooling altogether. How old are your kids? I ask that because homeschooling can bring different challenges at different ages. Reading struggles, attitude struggles, etc etc etc
